What we store when you visit or rent a key, who processes it, and how to ask for access or deletion.
This page describes how Rent AI Key handles information when you visit the public board, rent a key, or email support. The operator is Akshay Maurya (Hash-Studios) in Bengaluru, India. Contact privacy questions at hello@rentaikey.com.
The site is a booking marketplace. It stores what it needs to run a slot: who paid, which key, which URL to open, when the window starts and ends, optional visual add-ons, and how many times the live key was pressed.
When you book a key we collect your name, email address, destination URL, selected duration, optional customization (color, font, custom text, background image, sound, press effect), and payment confirmation from our payments provider. We also store click counts and listing metadata so the live board can show what a key opens.
When you visit, we record coarse visit and click aggregates so the board can show visitor and click totals. Analytics tools (Mixpanel and Vercel Analytics) receive page-view and product events. Images you upload for a key are stored in object storage so the keyboard can render them.
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments; we do not store full card numbers. Transactional email (booking confirmation and expiry warnings) is sent with Resend. The app is hosted on Vercel. Booking records live in a Postgres database (Neon). Optional key artwork is stored on Cloudflare R2.
These processors see only what they need for their job: charging, emailing, hosting, storing rows, or serving an image. We do not sell personal information. We do not use booking emails for unrelated marketing lists.
Booking records stay as long as they are needed to run the board, show history on a key, and handle support or disputes. Click totals are part of that history. You can email ${SITE_EMAIL} to ask what we hold for your address, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
Do not put secrets in a redirect URL or in custom key text. Those fields are shown on a public keyboard. If you believe a live key is abusive, email support with the key and URL and we will review it.
